SCIENCE OF THE SECONDARY
Science of the Secondary (2013) is an inquisitive approach towards uncovering implicit conditions that exist in our experience of the everyday. When speaking of the term ‘secondary’, we are referring to conditions and sensations that human beings are not conscious of in their day-to-day interaction with things and the immediate surroundings. Accumulating this rich and boundless field of knowledge, the research hopes to draw upon a renewed sensibility towards living, with much excitement and freshness.
HOKODOMO
HoKoDoMo (2023) is an informal publishing project by Atelier HOKO that consists mostly of children’s drawings for everyone to enjoy. Sometimes, we find grown-ups with their ugly and nonsensical drawings and we like to share them too. We hope each publication carries the energy and preciousness of being a child. We do not make these drawings "nicer" or more acceptable for the masses. They are all pretty ugly.
